Born from the need to disconnect and recharge, Pausa is an urban hammock designed as an everyday invitation to slow down, breathe, and restore. Thoughtfully executed with soft materials and architectural lines, it brings the comfort of rest into contemporary living spaces. Inspired by the Italian art of taking a break, Pausa balances elegance and ease, turning stillness into a sculptural ritual.

Taking inspiration from my home country, the Dominican Republic, where the hammock is not an accessory but a way of life, we aimed to translate this tradition of suspended rest into a refined, sculptural seat that transmitted elegance and poetic restraint.
